Job Summary
The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, one of the largest cancer treatment centres in Europe, is recruiting a Band 4 Data Manager to support Phase 1 clinical trials within the Experimental Cancer Medicine Team. The role involves data management activities such as completing case report forms, managing queries, liaising with monitors, and maintaining trial databases from multiple data sources.
Job Responsibilities
* Assist with efficient and timely set up of clinical trials by creating trial workbooks for source data collection.
* Manage daily trial activity including CRF completion and query resolution to meet internal and external deadlines.
* Prioritise competing workloads to meet deadlines.
* Assist with quality assurance of trial documentation in accordance with legislation and guidelines.
* Assist with preparation for audit and inspections within assigned teams.
* Manage communication in line with the Data Protection Act.
* Maintain clinical trial documentation.
* Respond flexibly to change and organisational needs.
* Provide point of contact for sponsors, researchers, and monitors regarding data queries and site visits.
* Ensure data completeness and accuracy, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

* Diploma or administrative experience.
