Registered Manager Children's Home in Oldbury Birmingham B69 We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to run our new property based in Oldbury supporting up to 2 young people. Our Organisation offer a unique Emotional Behaviours service for children and young people. and specialise in children and young people with complex mental health & EBD needs & associated challenging behaviours. You will be committed to providing the highest standard of care.The owners are committed to making a difference with years of hands on experience. Opportunities to progress will be encouraged. A second home will open within 12 months of the first home which will open Dual Manager opportunity and increased salary and benefits. You will be provided with a great support group initially from our experienced Responsible Individual and as well as the Owners and Directors. Are you looking for a new challenge? Salary Benefits and bonus of Registered Manager * Salary for Experienced RM will be £50-£55kstart with increase of up to £20k for dual management * Above average holiday entitlement * The Management Bonus Scheme takes into consideration a range of KPIs from inspections, audits, staffing, finances, training, annual leave, sickness and more. Meeting targets in all these areas will result in a performance bonus. The better you do the bigger your bonus. Registered Manager Skills and abilities * Ability to demonstrate reasoning, numeracy, literacy and technology skills to required standard. * Ability to work as a team, working closely with colleagues and other agencies. * Ability to solve problems. * Able to work within the principles of the Children’s Act. * Demonstrate a sound working knowledge of Child Protection Issues and Procedures. * Sound knowledge of Children’s Homes procedures and relevant issues. * Ability to exercise authority. * Proven leadership and management abilities. * Excellent communication skills – both verbally and written. Registered Manager knowledge and experience. * At least 2 year working experience as a Registered Manager in a Registered Children’s Home where the rating of their home is good to outstanding which can be evidenced. * A minimum of two years’ experience at senior level in a Children’s Home. * Experience working with Children who have Mental Health, Emotional & Behavioural difficulties * Have a very good understanding of the children’s homes regulations and quality standards, 2015 * Have good knowledge and experience working as a designated safeguarding lead in children’s residential home (s) * Registered Manager qualifications * The Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young Peoples Services (or you are willing to work towards this) Or NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care (Children’s Pathway) combined with a Leadership and Management Qualification * Have a good understanding of PACE * Knowledge of all aspects in opening a new home For more information about this Registered Manager opportunity contact Mick Hull Fieldview Care Recruitment Solutions
