What’s involved?
* Joining the service & installation department
* Some work away from factory involved (1 week a month)
* 2-3 overseas trips a year
* Mechanical fitting
* Manual work – in & around machinery daily
* Welding – Mild Steel & Aluminium
* Reading 2D CAD drawings
* Welding machine chassis using hollow section mild steel
* Fitting electro-mechanical components into metal frames
* Use of traditional engineering skills
