The Role
We are seeking a talented and reliable Breakfast Chef to lead their morning kitchen service. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who takes pride in delivering beautifully presented, high-quality breakfasts and enjoys working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
You will be responsible for preparing and delivering both à la carte and buffet breakfast options to the highest standards, ensuring every guest starts their day with an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes, including full English, continental, and à la carte options
2. Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and taste across all dishes
3. Manage breakfast service efficiently, maintaining a calm and organised kitchen
4. Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and rotation
5. Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety (in line with HACCP)
6. Work closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
7. Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal offerings
? Requirements
8. Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role in a high-quality hotel or restaurant- preferably at 3-4 star standard
9. Strong knowledge of breakfast cookery and kitchen operations
10. Ability to work early mornings (typically starting at 7am)
11. High attention to detail and presentation
12. Calm under pressure with excellent time management
13. Passion for fresh, locally sourced produce
14. Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above preferred)
