Your new role
Prepare, analyse, and present accurate monthly management accounts, budgets, and forecasts
Develop and maintain financial models and Excel based reporting tools to support decision making
Support budgeting and forecasting cycles with reliable, data-driven outputs
Maintain strong financial controls across fixed assets, inventory, journals, VAT returns, and reconciliations
Deliver meaningful commentary and variance analysis for senior stakeholders
Assist in month end, quarter end, and year end close processes to meet strict deadlines.
Manage intercompany transactions in both GBP and EUR
Identify cost saving opportunities and support finance transformation initiatives
Drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency within finance systems
What youll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a qualified
ACCA/CIMA/ACCA accountant with solid experience in management accounting, month end reporting to deadline, and strong analytical skills supported by advanced Excel capability. They will be comfortable interpreting financial data, producing clear commentary, and maintaining high standards of financial control. A background in a growing or fast paced organisation is advantageous, as is exposure to large ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP or Dynamics 365 and Power BI. Personally, they will be proactive, detail driven, and highly organised, someone who takes ownership, communicates well across teams, stays calm under pressure, and is motivated by accuracy, improvement, and delivering high quality financial insights.
