Key Responsibilities
* Lead the care team to ensure safe, supportive, and person‑centred care for residents.
* Induct new team members and supervise existing staff.
* Conduct care audits, trigger reviews and ensure good practice.
* Liaise with families, care professionals, social workers and residents to provide holistic care.
* Monitor, report and investigate risks or safeguarding concerns, implementing mitigation procedures.
* Maintain accurate administrative records: daily care notes, medication charts and meeting minutes.
* Support the Registered Manager in day‑to‑day operations and assume full responsibility in their absence.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
* Prior experience of leading a team of care assistants (and Registered Nurses if clinical).
* QCF Level 3 diploma or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
* Good knowledge of the CQC key lines of enquiry and other regulatory frameworks.
* Available to work 42 hours per week, including weekends.
* Visa sponsorship not available.
