Making a difference at St Helens as a Newly Qualified Social Worker
Joining us as a Newly Qualified Social Worker means you will provide expertise commensurate with your role, experience and grade acting as invaluable resource to the team and department working in a diverse, challenging and rewarding environment. You will have a protected caseload for 2 years and will receive additional support from our ASYE co-ordinator. What You’ll Bring:
* Knowledge and understanding of the 1989 Children Act, the 2004 Act and other relevant legislation and statutory guidance
* Knowledge of the Framework for Assessment of Children in Need and their families and an understanding of its application.
* Experience of assessing needs, setting tasks, producing care plans and reviewing those plans.
* Experience of working with families in need of support or in crisis
* CQSW, CSS, Dip SW or Social Work Degree
* Degree Registered Qualified Social Worker with the Social Work England, or will apply for registration before taking up thepost.
