Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team at Church Farm at Field House in Radcliffe-On-Trent, Nottinghamshire in the heart of the community.
This role is vital in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our residents known as Family Members, contributing directly to their comfort and well-being. If you have a passion for supporting others and creating a safe home-like atmosphere, we would love to hear from you.
This role is a part-time position working between 8am - 3pm with a 30 minute unpaid break per shift, 5 shifts per week (32.5 hours per week contract). There will be a requirement to work alternative weekends.
Responsibilities
* Perform routine cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic environment for residents.
* Support the care team by maintaining cleanliness in communal areas.
* Assist with laundry services as needed.
* Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
* Foster positive relationships with residents through friendly interactions.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills.
* Uphold the values of Church Farm Care in all interactions.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in commercial cleaning roles.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
* Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is preferred but not mandatory.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to care.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
