About Our Client
My client is recruiting for a new Part Time Finance Assistant in Epsom.
Job Description
3. Creditors invoices
4. Set up / maintenance of all Sage creditors accounts
5. Ownership of Sage purchase-2-pay process (including purchase orders and purchase invoices)
6. Checking p/o and invoice codes, depts and entity (against budget codes)
7. Conversion of p/o's to invoices; uploading all invoices in Sage to postings
8. Creditors/staff payments
9. Download creditors reports from Sage
10. Match credit notes to invoices
11. Producing bi-weekly payment run schedules
12. Post all payments in Sage against supplier/staff accounts
13. Liaise with Finance Manage re. coding of all sales invoices ensuring code, dept, project code and entity are correct as well as VAT
14. Produce sales invoices and credit notes in Sage Intact
15. Match credit notes to invoices in Sage
16. Post sales invoices Sales Force (CRM system)
17. Update membership debtors' schedule
18. Send monthly debtors' statements
19. Bank Cash/Cheques received weekly
20. Post bank receipts in Sage and Sales Force
21. Update petty cash schedules / reconcile cash balance / post payments in Sage
22. Assist with year-end audit queries; prepare schedules in advance of audit
The Successful Applicant
23. May be studying towards an Accountancy qualification.
24. May have charity finance experience
25. Competent at Excel (intermediate e.g. Pivot tables essential)
26. Competent and confident using accounting software
27. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
28. Able to prioritise own work and achieve monthly deadlines
29. Work unsupervised, self-motivated
