We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our small Facilities team at Sequani. You will be responsible for the maintenance of plumbing and heating systems across our site, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
The Facilities department at Sequani is a multi-disciplined team covering electrical, plumbing, HVAC, stores and general site services. We are responsible for covering breakdowns, maintenance requests and the stores function throughout the site. Role Overview: The primary responsibility of the plumbing and heating engineer is to perform both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on the site's heating and plumbing systems. You will also respond to maintenance requests raised by other departments. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the stock of general heating and plumbing materials and consumables. From time to time, you may be required to undertake other duties as needed, including responding to site emergencies.
What we're looking for: Essential: NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent).
Ability to work independently and take initiative in solving technical issues.
Sound knowledge of heating systems, hot and cold water systems, and drainage.
Ability to work at reasonable heights and confined spaces.
Strong understanding of health & safety practices.
Desirable: Experience of operating forklifts
Willing to work on steam systems
An understanding of a building management system
