Tor View School is recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join their catering team! We are looking for passionate individuals who can support the provision of catering services by assisting with basic food preparation and hygiene, promoting healthy eating, and contributing to the wellbeing of our Children and Young People.
In this role, you will, under direction, take responsibility for parts of the catering operation, ensure the kitchen and associated areas meet hygiene standards, and comply with the Company's Assured Safe Catering Policies and Procedures. You will also assist the Chef with meal preparation and cooking in accordance with these policies. The working hours are between 10am and 2pm.

About the school:
Tor View School is a special school that supports young people with autism, trauma-related interruptions, communication needs, and learning difficulties. We provide an appropriate curriculum in a nurturing environment in the heart of Devon. With small class sizes of around 4 students, we dedicate ourselves to helping each pupil access education and achieve their goals.

Experience requirements:
Previous experience in meal preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen is advantageous but not essential. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
Main duties:
