Core Responsibilities
* Clerical Support: Providing comprehensive administrative assistance across the school, including filing, photocopying, scanning, and managing departmental post.
* Data Entry & Maintenance: Updating and maintaining student and staff records on school databases such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom, ensuring all information is accurate and compliant with GDPR.
* Reception & Enquiries: Assisting the front-office team during peak times, answering phone calls, and dealing with face-to-face enquiries from students, parents, and local residents.
* Resource Coordination: Managing the inventory of office and classroom supplies, placing orders when necessary, and ensuring that curriculum materials are organized and accessible.
* Document Preparation: Drafting letters to parents, creating student reports, and formatting school documents to ensure a professional and consistent standard of communication.
* Meeting Support: Assisting in the coordination of staff meetings and parents' evenings, including the preparation of agendas, sign-in sheets, and basic minute-taking where required.
