We’re looking for an experienced and organised Retail Delivery professional to join our team at Westfield Stratford. You’ll play a key role in managing fit-outs and retail unit handovers across our UK assets, working closely with Centre Management, Leasing, Design & Construction teams to ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant store openings. Key objectives Based at Westfield Stratford City, this role oversees the full lifecycle of retail delivery projects, ensuring tenancies are handed over on time and fully compliant with their Agreements for Lease, and that tenants are ready to open with their approved fit-outs in place. What will you be doing… Coordinate project information flow across internal teams and external partners (Leasing, Design, Construction, Tenants). Manage retail unit delivery programmes, ensuring timelines, compliance, and quality standards are met. Oversee change control and approvals related to tenancy modifications and leasing negotiations. Ensure landlord obligations are fulfilled, including capital expense approvals and documentation. Support the fit-out process through oversight of guides, site requirements, and statutory compliance. Monitor and manage tenant handovers, shop openings, and exits—including snagging and vacant unit upkeep. Collaborate with Retail Design to align tenant designs with delivery parameters and timelines. Administer RAMS, permit approvals (via C-Tracker), and site safety requirements, including CDM and hot works. Maintain best practices in contractor oversight, tenant coordination, and compliance with landlord constraints. Communicate regularly with other centre teams to ensure alignment and share learnings/best practices. Provide flexible support across assets and cover Centre Duty Management responsibilities when needed. What skills, experience, and knowledge will you need to be successful? Relevant Degree or 10 years relevant experience. SMSTS 5 day or Nebosh Health and Safety training is desirable A valid CSCS Card – at least Black level is desirable Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven experience in a customer/client-facing environment Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office software (particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel) A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from dealing with strategic issues at conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post project review. Excellent knowledge and experience of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques. Experience of leading project management commissions for medium to large sized projects of medium to high complexity. People management experience, particularly in the context of managing a team delivering a project. Knowledge and experience of retail development in conjunction with the construction industry, including an appreciation and understanding of the retail trading environment. Knowledge of construction legislation, statutory requirements and codes of practice, including current developments in legislation relating to property and construction industry. Knowledge of construction techniques and methodology relating to shopping centres and shopfitting generally. An understanding of cost management functions, and knowledge of cost controls & performance measures, including construction trends, & practices.
