The Venue

Located in the heart of West London, Chelsea Football Club is one of the world’s most iconic football clubs and a premier sports and events venue. Stamford Bridge, blends rich football heritage with state-of-the-art facilities, offering a dynamic and inspiring environment for both matchday and non-matchday operations.

About the Role

The Head of Hospitality Operations is responsible for leading and overseeing all hospitality-related services within the venue to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and commercial success. This role provides strategic and hands-on leadership across food and beverage, customer service, event delivery, and front-of-house operations.

By driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of service, and collaborating with internal departments and external partners, the Head of Hospitality Operations ensures the venue maintains high standards, meets financial targets, and consistently exceeds guest expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with HODs to provide effective leadership across F&B operations, driving a high-performance culture and delivering exceptional service at all Chelsea FC venues.
* Oversee daily operations and provide hands-on support during key events and matchdays to ensure seamless, premium guest experiences.
* Deliver strong financial performance by managing food and beverage margins, labour costs, and stock control in line with business targets.
* Uphold 5-star standards in health, safety, food hygiene, and reporting, while ensuring full compliance with club and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for someone with:

* Demonstrable experience in senior hospitality or venue operations leadership – essential.
* Experience managing large-scale hospitality services in high-footfall environments (e.g., stadiums, event venues, hotels, or leisure destinations) - desirable
* Strong background in team leadership, with experience overseeing diverse operational teams (F&B, guest services, event delivery, etc.).
* Demonstrable success in achieving commercial targets (e.g., revenue, cost control, margins) and improving customer satisfaction scores.
* Experience working with third-party suppliers, contractors, and partners.
* Familiarity with event operations, licensing, compliance, and health & safety regulations.
