The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple roofing contracts from inception to completion. This role requires strong project management skills and a proactive approach to health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee multiple roofing projects simultaneously.
* Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Ensure timely procurement of all required materials.
* Managing and maintaining profitability through managing labour and material costs effectively.
* Working closely with the commercial team in managing valuations and invoicing.
Health & Safety Role:
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Prepare, review, and update Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
* Deliver effective site inductions.
* Identify additional training requirements
* Attend client meetings including pre-start and progress meetings.
* Communicate clearly any changes to regulations and site specific safety requirements to operatives.
* Point of contact for client an all stakeholders of the project
Required Skills And Experience
* Minimum 1-2 years' experience managing roofing contracts and teams or similar.
* Strong knowledge of BUR and industry standards.
* Health & Safety and Working at Heights trained.
* SMSTS Certification preferable.
* KNEBOSH or IOSH preferable.
* Strong IT proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management software).
* Excellent communication, organisation, and reporting skills.
* Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and teams effectively.
