Are you a dynamic and inspirational leader ready to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for a passionate Residential Home Team Leader to join our dedicated team at Bayview, located in the beautiful Capernwray, Carnforth. In this role, you will help guide young individuals aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties, ensuring they thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the daily operations of the home.
* Provide a secure, homely atmosphere that promotes positive growth for our residents.
* Deputize for the Registered Manager when they are absent, ensuring continuity of care.
* Maintain high standards of care plans, adhering to legal and Ofsted requirements.
* Foster open communication with staff, residents, and external stakeholders.
* Manage day-to-day staff issues fairly and consistently, promoting a positive team culture.
* Engage in menu planning and ensure quality food standards for our young residents.
What We’re Looking For
* A full UK driving license.
* Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.
* Strong leadership skills with a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Ability to build positive relationships with young people and staff alike.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and staff management.
Working Conditions
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. You will be part of a supportive team in a home rated 'Outstanding' or 'Good' by Ofsted, where your contributions will directly impact the lives of our young residents.
Compensation and Benefits
* Competitive basic salary of £27,803.20, with potential earnings up to £34,523.20 through sleep-in shifts.
* Up to £6,720 in sleep-in payments (average of 6-8 shifts per month at £70 each).
