HH Recruitment are seeking an experienced and organised Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations within our clients busy warehouse facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient storage, distribution, inventory control, and team leadership while maintaining high standards of health and safety in line with UK regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all warehouse operations including goods in/out, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
* Manage and lead warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
* Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation, including regulations set by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
* Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock control procedures
* Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs
* Manage relationships with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments
* Oversee warehouse budgets and control operational costs
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
* Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS)
* Conduct regular audits and risk assessments
