We have a fantastic opportunity for an Ambulance Care Assistant to serve your local community and join the Ambulance Service as part of our crew, based at either Quorn Road or Ashville Close, Nottingham.
Contract type: Zero hours.
Start date: Must be available to begin training on Monday, 1st September.

Other duties include:
* Transporting elderly, sick, and vulnerable patients
* Assisting with 'end of life' care with empathy
* Building rapport with patients and relatives
* Lifting and securing patients in/from ambulances
* Handover of patients at hospitals or to families
* Transferring patients within hospitals or on flights
* Supporting patients with challenging behavior or mental health issues
* Maintaining ambulance safety, cleanliness, and organization
Candidate requirements:
* Commitment to patient care
* Effective communication skills, especially in emotional situations
* Calm, careful driving
* Teamwork and collaboration skills
* Pass an Enhanced DBS check (company funded)
* Knowledge of local area
* Valid UK manual driving license with less than 6 points
* Physical fitness for patient handling
* Flexibility to work shifts
