Trainee Neurodevelopmental Practitioner


* Location: Hybrid – Deal, Kent


* Salary: £25,000 per annum (12-month fixed-term contract)


* Start Date: Monday 1st September (Mandatory) - Please note that mandatory training will take place throughout September. Applicants must be available to start on Monday 1st September to be considered for this role.


Are you a Psychology graduate with a passion for understanding neurodevelopmental conditions like ASD and ADHD? Do you want to gain hands-on clinical experience while being trained by experts in the field?


At RTN Mental Health Solutions, we’re offering a 12-month, fully structured training programme that equips you with the skills to conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments using gold-standard tools such as ADI-R, ADOS, ACE, and DIVA.

Job Role & Responsibilities


As a Trainee Neurodevelopmental Practitioner, you will:


* Conduct comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessment interviews, evaluating cognitive, emotional, and behavioural functioning
* Use standardised diagnostic tools to assess and diagnose ASD and ADHD
* Prepare detailed clinical reports, documenting findings, assessments, and recommendations
* Critically analyse clinical data, integrating patient history and observational findings for informed diagnoses
* Conduct risk assessments, ensuring safeguarding measures are in place for patient well-beingParticipate in multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meetings, collaborating with professionals to develop patient-centered care plans
* Maintain high standards of clinical care, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory guidelines
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in assessments


Who We’re Looking For


* A Psychology graduate (2:1 or above), eager to develop clinical expertise
* Someone with a keen interest in neurodevelopmental conditionsA detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills
* A team player who is clinically curious, solutions-focused, and proactive
* Confident using Microsoft Office or Google Suite, particularly Word and Excel
