Company Overview:
Our rapidly growing hardware R&D client is pioneering breakthroughs at the intersection of quantum science, precision engineering, and advanced electronics. With research teams spanning North America and Europe, these folks design and build next-generation technologies that push the boundaries of computation, measurement, and control.
Their Boulder facility serves as our North American research hub, focused on laboratory development, experimental operations, and collaboration with leading academic and scientific institutions. As they continue scaling, they’re now seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of our growing U.S. site and its supporting laboratory infrastructure.
Role Overview:
This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary position supporting both the day-to-day operation of our Boulder facility and the coordination of research-related activities. You’ll play a central role in site logistics, vendor and facility management, and light administrative support for ongoing scientific programs.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Operational Support & Administration
1. Oversee daily office and facility operations, ensuring a professional and well-organized environment.
2. Manage purchasing, vendor relationships, and general procurement for lab and office supplies.
3. Coordinate team events, on-site meetings, and travel logistics for staff and visitors.
4. Support onboarding for new hires, ensuring workspace readiness and access coordination.
Laboratory & Research Coordination
5. Assist with the setup, organization, and smooth running of laboratory environments and technical workspaces.
6. Provide light administrative and operational support for scientific programs, collaborations, and research initiatives.
7. Help coordinate visitors, collaborators, and contractors associated with research projects.
8. Maintain accurate records related to laboratory assets, maintenance schedules, and safety documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
9. Serve as a primary liaison between the U.S. site and international counterparts.
10. Work closely with leadership to develop and maintain consistent operational processes.
11. Contribute to the continued improvement of systems that support our expanding research and technical teams.
Qualifications:
12. Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in a scientific, engineering, or business discipline.
13. 2–5 years of experience in operations, facilities, or administrative coordination within a technical or research-focused environment.
14. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.
15. Strong familiarity with modern productivity and communication tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, project management software).
16. Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
Preferred Experience:
17. Experience supporting scientific or technical teams, such as research labs, university programs, or hardware startups.
18. Background in vendor management, purchasing, or event/conference coordination.
19. Prior involvement in office or lab buildouts, renovations, or facility expansions.
