BMS Service & Small Works Engineer
Location: Oxford (with some London travel)
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Expenses, Private Medical Insurance, Pension Scheme, up to 33 days holiday + more
About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced BMS Service & Small Works Engineer to support service operations across the Oxford area, with some work in London. This is a hands-on role involving servicing, fault finding, commissioning support, and delivering small works projects across a range of commercial sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on BMS systems
* Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on site
* Delivering small works projects including upgrades and modifications
* Supporting commissioning activities where required
* Working closely with clients and providing technical support
* Producing service reports and documentation
* Assisting with system optimisation and energy efficiency improvements
* Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
Requirements
* Strong background in BMS service and maintenance
* Experience working with Trend systems preferred
* Ability to carry out fault finding and system diagnostics independently
* Experience delivering small works or upgrades
* Good understanding of HVAC plant and controls
* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
* Full UK driving licence
