Job Purpose
This newly created Senior Manager roles brings together the Inclusion, Diversity & Wellbeing (ID&W), engagement, and performance agendas to ensure a cohesive approach is developed, enabling us to achieve exceptional people experience. We are looking for someone who can identify and leverage natural synergies from the people experience agendas to create a consistent, fair, and transparent approach.
The successful candidate will be able to lead, motivate and inspire a team of subject matter experts who specialise in ID&W, performance, engagement, and culture to drive the agenda forward in a commercial way through collaboration and proactive execution.
Pivotal to the role is engaging with senior leaders across the firm, including within the P&C team to bring momentum, challenge, and innovative ways of thinking to embed a culture of high performance with ID&W woven through all that we do.
Role and Responsibilities
1. Work with the HR Business Partner team to build meaningful relationships to influence executive sponsors, and senior leadership to drive the ID&W, engagement, and performance agendas.
2. Collaborate with the HR Business Partner team to drive continuous improvement in annual cyclical process, including for feedback mechanisms.
3. Authentic and credible delivery of an I&D strategy that has been evolved to ensure there is an analytical, measurable and targeted approach to further embed a culture of I&D through all we do.
4. Embed a performance and engagement approach that is fit for purpose for the firm as a whole and stays true to our commitment to creating a high-performance culture.
5. Bring expert knowledge and perspective to stakeholders, challenging them to take collective accountability for building a culture of high performance.
6. Embed governance structures that enable the delivery of high quality across all agendas.
7. Leverage the expertise of the communications team to proactively drive a credible and strategic communications plan aligned to our people experience strategy.
8. Work closely with the Director of People Experience and culture specialist to embed our firm approach to culture.
Skills Knowledge and Experience
9. Proven HR generalist with experience and expertise of I&D principles, practices, and legislation. CIPD qualified.
10. Excellent interpersonal, communication, relationship building and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate with commerciality.
11. Credible senior manager who is a trusted advisor to the firm across the inclusion, engagement and performance agendas.
12. Passionate about driving an inclusive culture and is committed to advancing and evolving our I&D, performance, and engagement agendas.
13. Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data to inform decisions and drive improvements.
14. Passionate about creating and driving a positive people experience through collaboration with key stakeholders.
15. Experience of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, as well as managing relationships with external suppliers.
