Your responsibilities will include: Clinical & Leadership Responsibilities Assist the dentist and hygienists during clinical procedures, delivering safe, effective chairside support Maintain and oversee infection control and sterilisation protocols, ensuring compliance and CQC standards Supervise decontamination processes and cleanliness of the clinical environment. Lead on clinical governance, including regular practice audits and CQC compliance. Administrative & Team Management Mentor and manage the dental nursing team, including inductions, performance supervision, and training. Coordinate staff rotas and ensure adequate coverage for clinic sessions with the Practice Manager. Oversee stock levels, equipment maintenance, and ordering of consumables. Assist the Practice Manager in the smooth operational running, recruitment, and process implementation. Patient & Quality Focus Support patient care throughout the visit, ensuring comfort, reassurance, and high standards of service. Provide oral health education and guidance to patients, fostering positive, lasting experiences.
