Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Football Coach to lead and develop a second Under 12's & Under 10's girls teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong coaching skills, a deep understanding of the game, and the ability to teach players of all skill levels. This role involves not only training athletes but also fostering a positive team environment that encourages growth, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Training: Tuesdays & Thursdays: Either: 5:30pm - 7pm or 6pm - 7:30pm
Match: Alternate Sundays - usually morning
Duties
* Develop and implement training programmes that enhance players' skills and fitness levels.
* Conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on both individual and team strategies.
* Analyse game performance to provide constructive feedback and improve future outcomes.
* Teach fundamental football techniques, tactics, and rules to players.
* Create a supportive and motivating atmosphere for athletes, promoting teamwork and respect.
* Organise and participate in team meetings, ensuring clear communication of goals and expectations.
* Monitor player progress and provide guidance for personal development both on and off the pitch.
* Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach to training and competition.
Requirements
* Active PVG
* 1.1 Introduction To Coaching badge.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with players.
* A thorough understanding of football rules, strategies, and training sessions.
* Ability to motivate and inspire athletes while maintaining discipline within the team.
