We will train you to be part of our dynamic, reactive customer-facing building facilities team, providing essential janitorial and cleaning tasks in our local buildings.
Ideal candidates can work within a small team, independently, and are self-motivated.
The post holder will perform safety tasks throughout Dalbeattie Learning Campus, support daily safety checks, general cleaning, and promote energy efficiency. Responsibilities include health and safety duties and client liaison.
You should be flexible, highly motivated, and proactive in delivering high-quality building facilities and cleaning services. Approachable, organized, and methodical working styles are essential.
Training will be provided in iPad/Microsoft Apps, cleaning procedures, equipment and chemical use, and health and safety.
The role involves 30 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year. Work hours will be discussed during the interview.
A current driving license is essential. If a disability prevents holding a license, alternative transport arrangements will be considered.
Additional Information
This post involves regulated work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will need to join or update the PVG Scheme before employment begins.
Applicants previously residing outside the UK within the last 5 years must provide a police record check from the relevant authorities.
