You will be a member of a growing corporation tax specialist team, focusing on providing proactive corporation tax services to a diverse range of clients across various industry sectors, including owner-managed businesses. The role requires client-facing skills, teamwork, and the ability to meet deadlines.
The Role
Responsibilities include:
1. Managing a portfolio of clients, including standalone companies and groups;
2. Reviewing computations prepared by team members and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality service;
3. Corresponding with HMRC regarding tax return queries;
4. Providing tax advice alongside managers and partners on topics such as research and development tax relief, corporate structures, restructuring, group tax planning, international matters, share schemes and valuations, venture capital tax reliefs, and tax due diligence reports;
5. Completing EMI and EIS/SEIS documentation.

* Deliver work to high standards and meet deadlines;
* Demonstrate strong client-focused skills, independence, teamwork, influence, and negotiation abilities;
* Possess excellent communication skills suitable for all levels internally and externally.
Work-Based Competencies
Candidates should have:
* Experience managing a client portfolio, including groups;
* Some involvement in providing advisory work;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word; and
* Preferred: Knowledge of Alpha tax software.
