Your Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Service Technician, your primary goal is to learn and understand the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, ultimately qualifying as a HVAC Service Technician. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
* Regularly attending Glasgow Kelvin College to study for your Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, and Heat Pumps qualification.
* Working on a variety of HVAC equipment, from small water and air side products to large commercial systems.
* Participating in customer site visits, shadowing qualified Technicians.
* Learning about refrigeration and air conditioning systems, fans, and air handling equipment.
* Assisting in troubleshooting and supporting technically challenging breakdowns.
* Gaining experience with sequencing and control panels, pumps, and water hydraulics.
* Exploring digital control systems and basic Building Management Systems (BMS).

What We’re Looking For
We want enthusiastic individuals who are eager to learn and grow! Here’s what you need to bring:
* Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English, Maths, Science, and ICT or Engineering.
* A full UK driving licence.
* A bright, inquisitive mind with a passion for learning.
* Good written English skills.
* An interest in M&E, Engineering, and the HVAC industry.
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
* Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
* Confidence and articulate communication skills.
