We’re passionate about delivering a high-quality, all-round first opinion service, with a strong focus on working cases up thoroughly in-house wherever possible. There’s also a real drive to support the local community, including increasing accessibility for procedures such as neutering, dentistry, imaging, and surgery, with a particular interest in supporting the local feline population.

About The Practice

Our purpose-built, modern practice has been designed with both patients and colleagues in mind and includes:

• 4 consult rooms (including shared x-ray room)
• Separate dog and cat waiting areas
• Dedicated prep area and operating theatre
• Dentistry suite
• In-house lab, digital x-ray and ultrasound (planned)
• 8 cat kennels, 8 dog kennels + 2 walk-in kennels
• Separate isolation ward
• Large colleague space
• Shower facilities
• Free parking and secure bike storage

We’ll also have the space to welcome visiting specialists, allowing us to keep more advanced work in-house.

About You

We’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:

• Has strong consultation and communication skills
• Demonstrates sound clinical reasoning and problem-solving
• Is confident with routine surgery and procedures
• Is comfortable with sole charge when required
• Shares our passion for delivering high standards of patient and client care

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who wants to be part of building something special.

The Role

• Full-time (40 hours), but flexible & part-time hours considered
• Monday–Friday: 9am–6pm
• 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am–1pm)
• No out-of-hours

About The Practice Owner

Our Practice Owner, Rebecca, graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2014 and brings a wealth of experience from both private practice and a busy PDSA hospital, alongside holding a certificate in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care. Beyond veterinary work, Rebecca serves as an on-call firefighter, bringing exceptional teamwork, resilience, and community spirit to the practice.
