Description Starting salary: £43,227 Contract type: Permanent Grade: 4 Location: Longmore House (with hybrid working) Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week Interviews: To be held over MS Teams on Week Commencing 15 June 2026 As Business Analyst with Historic Environment Scotland you will lead small to medium sized projects and support larger, more complex projects. You will manage stakeholder relationships, have a good understanding of your work area and share best practice whilst also mentoring others. Essential: Experience in Digital Transformation: Knowledge of ICT projects and stakeholder engagement is crucial Understanding of Business Analysis: Essential for requirements gathering and process mapping Technical Knowledge: Understanding of common techniques underpinning digital services, including APIs, cloud computing and artificial intelligence Stakeholder engagement skills: Ability to influence change and build relationships with stakeholders Collaboration and Innovation: Skill in working with diverse teams and fostering innovation in digital solutions Extensive experience of development life cycle, in both agile, and waterfall methodology environments BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis or equivalent professional experience Find out more about desirable skills and experience in our full job description here We are dedicated to building a workforce which is reflective of diversity within Scotland.
