Keyresponsibilities
Servicemanagement: Overseeingtheday-to-dayrunningofacareservicetoensurehighstandardsofcarearedelivered
Staffmanagement: Recruiting,training,supervising,andmanagingstaffperformance,includingmanagingrotas,sickness,andholidays.
Financialmanagement: Managingservicebudgetsandcontractsandensuringfinancialtargetsaremet.
Qualityandcompliance: Implementingpolicies,procedures,andqualitymonitoringtools;respondingtocomplaints;andensuringallnecessaryrecordsaremaintained.
Careandsupport: Buildingrelationshipswithserviceusersandtheirfamilies,coordinatingcareplans,andconnectingthemwithcommunitysupportsystems.
Riskmanagement: Assessingandmanagingrisks,andrespondingtoemergencysituations.
Administrativetasks: Updatingpatientrecords,maintainingcompliancedocumentation,andperformingotheradministrativeduties.
Qualificationsandskills
Qualifications: RequiresaLevel5DiplomainLeadershipforHealthandSocialCareandChildrenandYoungPeople'sServices.
Experience: ProvenexperiencemanagingaCareHome(ideally5years).
Leadership: Strongleadership,decision-making,andproblem-solvingskillsarecrucial.
Communication: Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskillsareneededtointeractwithstaff,serviceusers,families,andotherstakeholders.
