Location: Eynsham, Oxford initially, transferring to Bicester from early 2027.
Working Hours
* Rotating days – Weekly rotation: week 1 Mon‑Thur, 06:00–14:00 and Fri 06:00–13:30; week 2 Mon‑Thur 14:00–22:30 and Fri 13:30–18:30
* Nights – Mon‑Thu 22:00–06:15 and Fri 18:30–00:30
* Weekends – Sat and Sun 06:00–17:30 plus two weekdays in the following week
* Flexibility required for Saturday work and transfer to Bicester facility from 2027 if needed
Role
To produce a high‑quality product at the right time within the Manufacturing Cell, following specific work instructions and processes.
Responsibilities
* Be responsible for your own Health & Safety, work safely and adhere to the Company Health & Safety Policy
* Actively contribute to Health & Safety improvements and culture
* Complete the manufacturing processes to specification within the standard times
* Continuously work to reduce the cost of poor quality within the Manufacturing Cell
* Accurately populate and complete all Device History Records and E‑Logs
* Adopt the business behaviours and work within the required standards
* Contribute to problem‑solving, maintain the 5S culture and adopt TPM within the Manufacturing Cell
* Contribute to the productivity scheme and Lean Improvement Projects
* Proactively work with the Process Engineering Team and other Cell members to resolve issues
Qualifications
* Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential
* Self‑motivated to meet daily targets
* Good mechanical or electrical aptitude with an understanding of engineering and craft processes
* Good manual dexterity, comfortable with intricate manual production tasks
* Minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in English, Maths and Sciences; qualifications in Lean or Six Sigma desirable
* Strong interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
* Previous experience with hand tools and powered tools is advantageous
* Basic manufacturing skills desirable; no prior experience required if you have a strong interest in manufacturing career
