EYFS Teaching Assistant – Poulton‑le‑Fylde
Start: After Easter 2026
Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour – dependent on experience
Contract: Full‑time, long‑term (term‑time only)
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Poulton‑le‑Fylde. This is a fantastic opportunity to support early learning and development within a nurturing school environment, starting immediately after the Easter break.
The Role
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children across Nursery and/or Reception. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the class teacher with daily routines and classroom activities
* Providing 1:1 and small‑group support to aid learning and development
* Assisting with observations and contributing to children’s learning journeys
* Helping to create a safe, engaging and inclusive EYFS environment
* Encouraging independence, curiosity and positive behaviour
We Are Looking For:
* Experience working with children in an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
* Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
* A caring, patient and proactive approach
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
