If the answer to all the above is "yes", then a Deputy Manager role with one of the regions leading childrens home providers could be perfect for you. You may be a highly experienced Senior or Team Leader or already a Deputy Manager of a good or outstanding home looking to move to a community where you are valued, and your wellbeing is a priority. My client is a small family-owned company aiming to provide genuine trauma aware, person centred love, care and support for children and adults alike. We have plans to increase the number of children we care for and the right people will be supported, trained, and mentored to achieve the career progression they aspire to. The cornerstone of my clients philosophy is to provide a safe, loving, and stable family environment where all children's welfare is promoted, cared for, and nurtured in a manner that encourages them to develop positively. We use the Therapeutic Parenting model of care. We believe through effective coaching, mentoring and role modelling, we can provide children with positive life experiences, enabling them to explore their unique skills and talents so that they can grow and find their way in the world. Our motto 'anything is possible' enables our team and children to challenge the status quo and explore practices and experiences to find new opportunities for everyone. Remuneration: Salary from £40-45,000 Full time 40 hours plus 2 sleep ins per week on shift Bonus scheme 28 days Holiday, including bank holidays with additional holiday after two and five years' service. Ongoing training and development, opportunities to progress within a growing company and be part of an effective and supportive team Essential: Two years of experience leading in a Children's Home. Hold a minimum Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent. Hold or be prepared to undertake Diploma Level 5 in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare Be prepared to work early, late and sleep-in shifts on a predictable rota. Be 'on call' on a rota basis with the expectation of picking up shifts as the organisation requires. Be over the age of 21 (Employer has claimed an exemption under the Equality Act 2010).
