The Hospitality Bars Manager is responsible for leading the operational delivery of all Hospitality Bars for match days, conference & meetings, and special events. The role requires a hands-on approach to ensure seamless event execution, working closely with the Operations General Manager and team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
This is a maternity cover position.
What you’ll be doing…
* Manage catering teams on site, including recruiting, training, and supporting staff to deliver high-quality service.
* Oversee all hospitality bar operations for various events.
* Develop and implement SOPs for consistent service.
* Ensure staff adhere to uniform and professional standards.
* Deliver timely service according to schedules and event sheets.
* Control bar stock within budget, manage ordering, and oversee cash/card handling procedures.
* Conduct health & safety briefs and maintain documentation.
* Lead event day briefings and assign tasks.
* Manage staffing levels and labor costs.
* Collaborate with relevant managers on inductions, compliance, and event support.
* Recruit, train, and manage the bar team.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety and licensing laws.
* Maintain stock levels and quality standards.
* Assist the sales team with event planning and logistics.
* Coordinate operational activities on-site as needed.
