The Foyle Food Group is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the slaughter facility based at Six Hills Melton Mowbray.
Working closely with the Management team on site and at Group level, you will be responsible for coordinating Production activities, Engineering on site, Technical Management, Human Resources, and Safety operations to ensure the site runs smoothly and efficiently. This includes maintaining high safety standards, adhering to strict food safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement at the site. This is a key role that supports the overall efficiency and success of our business.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior role, ideally within red meat processing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. In conjunction with Group Functional Directors, deliver site objectives and targets
2. Report to Directors on business performance against targets and budgets
3. Demonstrate leadership to direct and manage others to maximize potential
4. Develop and deliver systems and processes to maximize site potential
