What you’ll do
* You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, using financial insight, scenario planning, and commercial judgement to influence key decisions.
* You’ll support contract negotiations, renewals, and variations, ensuring the right balance between value, risk, and compliance.
* You’ll own end‑to‑end financial governance across the contract lifecycle, ensuring controls, transparency, and accountability.
* You’ll partner with Audit, Legal, Procurement, and Compliance teams to ensure all contractual and regulatory requirements are consistently met.
* You’ll monitor commercial performance, proactively identifying risks and opportunities to protect revenue and improve margin.
* You’ll lead or support contract renewals, extensions, and dispute resolution, balancing customer outcomes with business priorities.
* You’ll deliver accurate monthly financial close, forecasting, and reporting, providing clear and actionable insights to stakeholders.
* You’ll translate performance into financial outcomes, supporting planning, forecasting, and delivery against targets.
* You’ll ensure accuracy in contract accounting, including revenue recognition, cost allocation, billing, and compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
* You’ll optimise key financial processes such as cash flow forecasting, WIP management, and purchase order governance.
* You’ll identify and drive process improvements, automation, and smarter ways of working to enhance efficiency.
* You’ll collaborate across Sales, Commercial, Finance Operations, and Supply Chain teams to deliver seamless, end‑to‑end processes.
* You’ll drive alignment between commercial priorities and financial performance through strong stakeholder influence.
Who you are
* You have strong commercial acumen and can interpret complex financial data to provide clear strategic insight.
* You are confident influencing senior stakeholders and working across multiple teams to drive alignment and results.
* You bring experience in financial planning, reporting, and contract or commercial finance within a complex environment.
* You demonstrate strong governance, risk management, and compliance awareness across financial processes.
* You are comfortable managing and influencing large portfolios, with accountability for revenue, margin, and cash flow outcomes.
* You have a proactive mindset, able to identify risks early and drive corrective action with pace and ownership.
* You are highly analytical, detail‑oriented, and committed to delivering accuracy in financial reporting.
* You are a collaborative team player who thrives in cross‑functional environments and values building strong relationships.
