Role Profile
We are seeking a proactive Sales Manager to oversee and develop the internal sales team within a specialist electronics manufacturing company, based in Mid Wales.
You will manage the daily sales operations, ensuring we are providing a consistent, high-quality service to our clients, driving new business activity and supporting the ongoing development of our key accounts.
Hybrid: 3 Days a week, onsite.
Office not on public transport links - Own Car/Driving License required
Responsibilities
* Lead, manage and develop the sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
* Monitor sales performance, KPIs and pipeline activity providing weekly sales activity reports for management.
* Maximise individual success through KPI setting, providing regular coaching and feedback sessions.
* Ensure efficient workflow and prompt handling of enquiries to maintain communication channels between the internal and field sales teams.
* Oversee customer enquiries, quotations and order processing, driving accuracy and prompt action.
* Support any complex orders and willingly liaise with suppliers to resolve challenges and meet customer expectations.
* Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, driving ongoing development of the relationship and business opportunities.
* Support the development of sales strategies to enhance business opportunities and align with our goals.
* Identify opportunities for improvement to internal processes and communication to better the business and the service delivered to our customers.
* Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to inform sales strategy and business development.
Person Specification
* Track record of B2B sales or Account Management.
* Demonstrable experience as Sales Team Leader, Sales Supervisor or Sales Manager.
* Background working within tech sales (i.e/ electronics, manufacturing, engineering, defence or rail sectors).
* Full, clean UK driver’s license (site is rural, no public transport links)
