Allocations Officer Ashford 12 Month Temp Full Time Join a respected Housing Association in Ashford as an Allocations Officer, playing a key role in delivering fair and effective housing allocations and supporting applicants through the housing register process. THE ROLE As an Allocations Officer, you will be responsible for assessing housing register applications, allocating council and housing association properties, and ensuring all lettings comply with the organisation’s Lettings Policy. You’ll provide accurate and empathetic housing advice to applicants and maintain up-to-date records to support efficient service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Process and assess housing register applications through Kent Homechoice, including medical and financial circumstances. Advise applicants on achieving the best possible housing outcomes. Allocate Council and RSL properties in accordance with Lettings Policy. Respond to general housing enquiries from applicants and partner agencies. Liaise with external agencies, including Social Services, regarding housing applicants. Carry out regular reviews of the housing register and maintain accurate records.
