We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Alder 24 Hour.

At Alder, you'll find a highly skilled and experienced nursing team, as well as a dedicated night team for overnight care. Our facility boasts onsite CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, and in-house labs, all conveniently situated near the vibrant offerings of Liverpool.

Role Accountabilities:

Exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do at Medivet. That’s the care for our patients, our clients and for each other – we really want to make a positive difference through every interaction we have.
In this role you will:

* Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.

* Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.

* Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.

* Deliver patient monitoring and care.

* Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.

* Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.

* Dispense and check medication.

* Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.

* Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.

Your Skills and Experience:

* RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.

* Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.

* Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.

* Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.

* Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
