Learner Recruitment Consultant (LRC)
Hours: Full-Time, Temporary (Maternity cover)
Location: Oldbury
Salary: £24,000-£28,000 pa, depending on experience & qualifications
Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Learner Recruitment Consultant (LRC) to join our Study Programme team. In this role, you will develop strong relationships with employers to increase opportunities for learners to gain high-quality work experience placements and Apprenticeship opportunities. You will support the effective delivery of Study Programmes, Traineeships, High Needs, and Apprenticeships, with success measured against company and contractual KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support local marketing activities and events as required.
2. Conduct comprehensive interviews to understand applicants' career aspirations, barriers to learning, and prior attainment, recording these details thoroughly.
3. Liaise with Parents/Carers and support/referral services to ensure understanding of the programme content.
4. Coordinate with the Employer Recruitment Service to match candidates to apprenticeship and traineeship vacancies.
5. Maintain regular contact with Local Authorities and referral partners to ensure a steady flow of referrals.
6. Provide high-quality Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) to learners about services, funding, and their training role.
Requirements
1. Successful experience in a sales/IAG-oriented, recruitment, or business-to-customer environment.
2. Excellent communication skills to connect with people and students.
3. Results-driven and passionate about making a difference.
4. Experience in managing performance against challenging targets.
5. Strong organisational and administrative skills.
6. Excellent time management.
7. Full, clean UK Driving License.
