Role Overview
As a Property Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of student properties across Newcastle. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth running of these properties, delivering exceptional service to both tenants and landlords while maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day property operations, including maintenance, repairs, and tenant inquiries.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Coordinate with maintenance teams and contractors to resolve issues promptly.
* Serve as the main point of contact for tenants and landlords, ensuring effective communication.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including universities and local authorities.
* Monitor rental income and expenditure, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence.
* Previous experience in property management. HMOs or a related field (PBSA experience desirable).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
* Knowledge of property management legislation and compliance requirements.
* Proactive, customer-focused, and solutions-driven approach.
Location
This position is based in Newcastle, with regular travel required across the city to visit sites.
