VodafoneThree - Digital Cost Control Manager - 12 Months FTC
Location: London OR Newbury+ Hybrid
Salary: Excellent basic salary plus bonus and Vodafone benefits
Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
Duration: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
What you’ll do
As Digital domain value Manager, you will be accountable for the outsourced partner service responsible for calculating and reporting resource usage, cost and forecasting vs budget allocation, to maximise customer and operational value in the Digital business.
Using the outputs provided by our outsourced partner team, you will communicate resource utilisation and costs against budget, partnering with Digital and IT business stakeholders to achieve VodafoneThree’s Digital goals.
* Own business process that enables right data to be available at the right time for effective Digital business decision making
* Partner with Engineering, Digital, Portfolio Delivery, and Finance to align on monthly Digital Capex resource allocation, forecast costs, risks, and opportunities, fostering transparency and improving cost predictability for programmes and projects.
* Partner with Engineering, Digital, Portfolio Delivery, and Finance teams to highlight any risks or opportunities affecting scheduled deliveries due to resource onboarding, allocation, utilisation, or cost concerns.
* Assure the VOIS Digital cost control service deliverables, ensuring that services delivered to customers meet agreed performance standards, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and quality benchmarks.
* Supply and prioritise changes to the service provided by VOIS Digital cost control. Managing changes to the business case and its costs.
* Support the VodafoneThree Capex manager with the evaluation of the overall monthly capex position and signposting of Digital specific risk and opportunities
* Lead the drive for automation and optimization of essential processes within the Digital cost control service roadmap, ensuring these initiatives are delivered successfully by the outsourced partner team.
Who you are
* Demonstrable high levels of accountability, with clear drive to own and solve challenges and business problems.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence to build strong relationships at all levels and across large, diverse groups.
* Ability to negotiate, define, and enforce SLAs, while tracking KPIs to ensure service quality.
* A strong planning background and understanding of resource capacity and demand principles
* Strong analytical skills for identifying trends and making business recommendations
* An understanding of delivery practices, particularly agile methodologies
* A background within finance is preferable.
