IT Security and Network Sales Manager – Cologne / Hybrid / Germany
We are a Germany-based IT‑security services provider, established over 15 years ago, specialising in network & endpoint protection, consulting, integration and managed services. We serve organisations through a broad manufacturer portfolio and offer solutions across network security, firewalls, wireless, automation and infrastructure.
Location: Hybrid in North Rhine‑Westphalia.
Responsibilities
* Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while also acquiring new customers in the network and IT‑security domain.
* Guide clients through the full sales process – from initial inquiry and offer creation, through delivery, support, renewal and invoicing.
* Collaborate with internal technical teams and manufacturers to develop tailored security and network solutions for customers.
* Oversee contract renewals, subscriptions, support agreements, and maintenance services to maximise customer lifetime value.
* Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs in network and cybersecurity, presenting solutions, negotiating deals, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications
* 5 years of experience as an account manager in the IT‑services or cyber‑security sector.
* Familiarity with network and IT‑security solutions and manufacturers (e.g., Check Point, Fortinet, Infoblox, HPE/Aruba) and services such as support, subscriptions and renewals.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Customer‑centric approach, dependable and proactive work style, enjoyment in interacting with clients and cross‑functional teams.
* Strong written and verbal German (C1 minimum).
