About the Role:
As an Analytical Chemist in Metabolomics, you will be an essential part of a dedicated team delivering metabolomics support across R&D projects. Your role will combine hands-on data generation in a state-of-the-art laboratory with scientific administration of studies involving outsourced data generation. Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing:
* Independent Analysis: After receiving relevant training, you will analyse biological samples using LC-MS techniques.
* Data Quality Oversight: Take charge of your own data quality and collaborate with bioinformaticians to enhance study efficiency.
* Technical Support: Provide critical laboratory support including standard and reagent preparations, sample management, and meticulous record-keeping.
* Cross-Team Collaboration: Liaise with internal and external teams to manage outsourced metabolomics data generation effectively.
* Documentation Management: Collate necessary documents and populate study management templates for smooth project execution.
* Quality Assurance: Develop your expert knowledge in the scientific principles behind metabolomics studies, providing technical advice and ensuring quality assurance of data.
