Welding Lecturer

I’m currently working with a large college organisation based in the North East of England. The College provides excellent facilities for over 13,000 students from across the area, they pride themselves in the campus and equipment they have access to.
They’re looking to recruit a permanent, full-time Welding Lecturer to join their dedicated and friendly Engineering Team.
In particular, they are seeking someone with strong practical expertise in welding techniques and safety procedures, who can inspire learners through hands-on instruction and real-world applications.
Welding Lecturer Responsibilities:
* Key role in developing learners’ proficiency in areas such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding, metal fabrication, blueprint reading, and equipment maintenance, while also fostering critical thinking, problem-solving, and workplace readiness.
* Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of all students
Welding Lecturer Requirements:
* Teacher qualified or willingness to learn
* Previous teaching experience/working with apprentices is preferred but not essential
* Keen to pass on knowledge to the next generation
* To hold a minimum of a Level 3 in Welding
Welding Lecturer Benefits:
* Salary up to £43,562 depending on qualifications/experience
* 45 per annum plus statutory Bank Holidays
