We are seeking reliable and proactive Caretakers (one permanent 30 hours per week and one 12 month fixed term 37 hours per week) to join our Early Help division, supporting the smooth operation of family hubs and children’s centres across Warrington. This is a key role in ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, and welcoming for children, families, and staff.
The role
* Maintain cleanliness and safety of indoor and outdoor areas.
* Carry out minor repairs and report larger maintenance issues.
* Open and secure buildings for daily operations and events.
* Support staff with room setups for meetings, workshops, and activities.
* Monitor stock levels of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

What's needed?
You will need:
* Experience in a caretaking, facilities, or site management role.
* Basic knowledge of building maintenance and cleaning procedures.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families.
