There are many opportunities for both JNCOs & SNCOs to join 3 R WELSH, we have locations all over Wales, centred around Cardiff, Swansea, Pontypridd in the South and in the North Wrexham and Colwyn Bay. We have an excellent opportunity to become the next Regimental Goat Major, the Post will involve many exclusive ceremonial parades with VVIP. Managing the Goat on a day-to-day basis, including feeding, walking and grooming. This is a very busy job and all applicants MUST be animal lover who are not shy of having their photo taken, YOU will be the face of the Regiment! You will receive all the required training and there will be a prolonged period (12mths ) with the current Goat Major, who will show you the ropes, so you will not be just dropped in at the deep end.
