About The Role Due to an internal promotion the position of Finance Manager is available. The Finance Manager reports into the Head of Financial Reporting with the following responsibilities: 1.\tFinancial & Statutory Reporting (75%) \tAssisting with financial reporting responsibilities including the month end close and provision of weekly and monthly management information and performance indicators to the Board and other stakeholders. \tSupport the Head of Financial Reporting and wider finance team to manage and deliver the Group's interim statement and full year statutory accounts including: o\tDrafting/reviewing key financial reporting position papers and back half disclosures o\tProvision of high quality and timely information to auditors and working with them to close audit questions out efficiently o\tReview of other disclosures and supporting workpapers produced by other members of the financial reporting team o\tOwn the project management of the audit from our side o\tVerification of front half and back half of financial statements \tAssisting the Head of Financial Reporting on technical accounting matters under IFRS, including drafting papers for the Audit Committee presentations. \tOwning IFRS15 accounting, reporting requirements and analysis \tAcquisition accounting and support: o\tFinance lead on integration of acquired companies into the Foxtons Group (own the finance relationship, review business operating costs to identify and realize synergies) o\tAcquisition accounting and liaison with auditors o\tAssisting with future budgeting and forecasting \tBusiness partnering the Foxtons IT development team to understand projects they are working, assess the ability to capitalize projects and ensure correct support is kept and produce clear analysis ensuring the team is fully utilized. \tIndividual entity statutory accounts preparation and liaison with auditors. 2.\tCoaching Finance Team & Continuous Improvement (25%) \tReviewing, implementing, and enhancing reporting processes and key controls across the broader business, including managing the integration of acquired businesses into our existing controls framework and systems. \tSupport the Head of Financial Reporting in review and coaching of wider financial reporting team (3 people, not direct reports of this role).
