LDH are well established food distributors based in Ipswich with an impressive purpose-built office with a 45,000 holding pallet fully automated warehouse. LDH have over 65 years’ experience supplying the major UK supermarkets and is recognised as the leading own label supplier of a wide range of ambient foods, sourced from every corner of the world.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Customer Collaboration Assistant to join our successful Supply Chain Team at LDH based at our state-of-the-art distribution facility. Reporting to the Customer Supply Chain Lead this role will be responsible for making sure that customer orders are processed and administered effectively, using existing processes and procedures whilst focusing on our corporate objectives – to provide a 100% service level to all of our customers in terms of Order Fulfilment, Delivery on time and Product Quality. You will be the primary point of contact for our Customer’s Supply Chain team and need provide support and insight to the wider internal Supply Chain and Commercial teams. Experience in a similar role or Academic work/studies in a similar or same field would be advantageous but not essential as full training would be provided
Key Accountabilities:
* To administer the complete order cycle from receipt to warehouse.
* To provide support and interaction between the Customer (Supply Chain Analysts) and LDH’s operational departments (Demand Planning, Commercial, Customer Service and Transport).
* To liaise closely with internal customers (Supply Chain, Commercial, Warehousing) and with the 3rd Party Haulier.
* Using your knowledge of our Supply Chain, you will be making difficult choices when we cannot meet our customer demands. You will be speaking directly to our customers and agreeing actions to resolve out-of-stocks.
* Responsible for controlling an actioning incident reports received from 3rd party haulier. To identify cause and agree action to resolve.
* Daily reporting of the number of vehicles delivered to each depot within your Customer Portfolio, including reporting on shortages and order counts received.

* Strong numeracy skills
* Establish and maintain working relationships with others.
* To collaborate and contribute towards the ongoing efforts for Continuous Improvement in service to both your external and internal customers.
* To be able to effectively communicate at all levels.
* The ability to work effectively under pressure in this fast-paced environment.
* Self-motivated and organised.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
