Support and Integration Officer
Location: Coventry, West Midlands

They are looking for a Support and Integration Officer to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working 37.5 hours per week.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Support and Integration Officer, you will deliver high-quality support and guidance to help refugees successfully resettle and integrate into their new communities. You will take ownership of your caseload, conducting pre‑tenancy assessments and creating personalised support plans to address the diverse needs of service users. Through this, you’ll offer practical, informed guidance on housing, health, education, employment and day‑to‑day living.
Alongside your one‑to‑one work, you will develop strong relationships with local agencies, coordinate group sessions, and help individuals connect with the wider opportunities and community resources available to them.
* Make referrals to relevant departments and partner agencies
* Maintain accurate case records and files to a high standard
* Participate fully in team meetings, training, supervision, and other staff activities
* Organise house meetings and carry out property and community visits
What Our Client Is Looking For
To be considered for this role you will need:
* Experience of working with asylum seekers or refugees in a voluntary or paid capacity
* Experience of providing advice and guidance, advocacy and culturally sensitive support
* Experience and knowledge of working with people with complex/multiple support needs
* Experience and capability to support refugees in the UK
* The ability to effectively assess, manage and continuously review needs and risks
* The ability to maintain accurate records and manage a caseload
* Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* A full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle
